Color Me Grunge: A Wang Goes Resort

24. Thats what thought repeats over and over in my head whenever I see anything Alexander Wang does. Last week, Wang showed his debut resort collection in New York, and must say, it has potential. Everything Wang designs has a grungy-simplicity, and I really think that in the future, once he is a bit more experienced, he has a really big potential to take it a step further and create some more detailed, high fashion looks. As for now, he is doing a fabulous job doing what he knows best and what we all love about him.
(above): by far my favorite. Wang doesn't do too many dresses, but he really should do more based on this one and a few others in the collection.

Coveting: Alexander Wang romper.
This top is really lovely, and a nice surprise.

Simple, but definitely chic.

Love this look. Not sure about the hat though...
really loving these pants
Fantastic casual-chic look. And check out the flats. I usually wouldn't like flats for a show of any season, but they work for Wang. He had some very nice pointy ones in his Spring show...
Again, he has been continuously surprising me with his dresses. I wrote a post about it not too long ago.
Great tee. And the SHOES!
